CME on 'Current Pediatric TB Guidelines' held on 24th March 2024
Department of
Pediatrics, FMMC, organized a one day CME on 'Current Pediatric TB Guidelines' as part of the World TB day 2024 with the
theme 'Yes, we can end TB' on 24th March 2024 from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30
p.m. at A.V. Hall, Knowledge Centre, Father Muller Medical College Hospital, on
the initiation by our beloved Dean Dr. Antony Sylvan Dsouza.
We had excellent
faculty from Chennai, Dr. Gowrishankar N.C., Pediatric Pulmonologist from Mehta
Hospitals, Chennai. Dr. Somu Sivabalan,
Pediatric Pulmonologist from Rainbow Hospital, Chennai. In addition, our own Dr. Jaidev M.D. from
FMMC, was also a faculty.
Rev. Fr. Richard
A. Coelho presided over the inauguration of our CME. Dr. Gowrishankar was the Chief Guest in the
august presence of our Dean Dr. Antony Sylvan Dsouza.
The CME was very
well attended as we had 102 registrations.
The feedback from the delegates was excellent.
We intend to
organize more such academic events with the kind support of our beloved Dean
and the management.
