World Breastfeeding Week Poster Competition
The Department of Community Medicine, FMMC conducted a poster competition on the
topic "Closing the gap: Breastfeeding support for all" on the 1 st week of August 2024 to
celebrate World Breastfeeding Week. The poster competition was organized by Dr Anissa
Mary Thomas Thattil, Assistant Professor and Dr Rachana K Nair, Senior Resident,
Department of Community Medicine, FMMC. The competition was open to students of
FMCI including medical, nursing, and allied health sciences. The event was a grand success
and had 21 participants which included students from MBBS, BSc Nursing, BHA and BPT.
Posters were displayed in the health centres for creating awareness among the population.
