Annual PTS meeting
The Parent Teacher Student Committee of Father Muller College of Nursing organized an Annual PTS meeting and a session on "Teens: Gainsand Pains" for all parents/guardians of the all-BSc Nursing Batches and GNM Nursing Batches of Father Muller School &College of Nursing on 27thJuly2024from 9.30am-5.00pm at Rajath Bhavan. The program started by imploring God's grace through a prayer song by BSc & GNM students. Mrs. Denitha T, PTS Chairperson,welcomed the gathering and Ms. Deepika NC was the master of ceremony, she introduced the resource person FR. ROHAN DIAS CSSR,ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, Department of Psychology, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru. Hestressed on impact of negative peer pressure and its effect on individuals' life. He also guided how to overcome negative peer pressure by setting limits, accept and respect we are all different, encourage one another daily, develop good values and interest. He ended the session by giving tips to parents as well he said why try to fit in when you were born to stand out. There was an analysis of university exam and sessional exam result report by the coordinators of all respective batches. Sr. Dhanya Devasia, Principal, Father Muller School &college of Nursing interacted with parents regarding their performance and clarified the doubts of the parents. After the meeting parents had meeting with coordinators of respective batches. Around 150 BSc nursing student's parents and 130 GNM nursing students parents were present for the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 4.30 pm.
