World ORS Day
On observance of World ORS Day on 29 ,July2024, a radio programme was hosted by the Department of Child Health Nursing along with Third -year BSc(N) students from FMCON at All India Radio 100.3FM, Mangaluru. The Departmental faculty Prof. Wilma Shalini Noronha Sr Lavita Priya Dias and Third Year BSc(N) Students Ms .Rashal Mascarenhas, Ms. Vaishnavi, Mr. Welron Monterio participated in the radio programme as resource person. The topic was delivered in Kannada language and the following content was covered: significance of the day, causes for dehydration, management, and preparation of ORS .On 22 July 2024, All India Radio (Akashavani) recorded the conversation. The programme was broadcasted on All India Radio 100.3FM on 29 July 2024at 5 pm at Yuvavani .
