Cancer Screening and Awareness camp, Loretto
A one day Cancer Screening and Awareness camp was held on 25th August 2024 at Our Lady of Loretto Church Hall, Bantwal, by Father Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Jewels group, Indian Cancer Society and Indian Red Cross Blood Bank, D.K. Dr Rohanchandra Gatty, Dr Dinesh Shet, faculty and staff from Father Muller Medical College Hospital delivered a health talk on Cancer and its prevention and treatment.
Simultaneously Radiation Oncology, OBG and Surgery OPD along with Laboratory and Pharmacy department delivered the services to 194 beneficiaries. Ms Melisha, Ms Jyothi , Ms Adithya, Ms Apoorva S, students of Nursing participated in the activities of the camp by assisting in PAP smear, registration process and also dispensing free medicines to the beneficiaries. Ms Priya S Pereira, faculty from Father Muller College of Nursing was the coordinator for the camp.
